Job Summary:
Omega Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to join their Central Office Engineering team on a contractor basis. This role focuses on enhancing engineering processes, ensuring effective project management practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across various departments.
Responsibilities:
• Main responsibility – General Project Management - planning, organizing, and coordination as well as operational support. – (70%)
• Work closely with counterparts within the Engineering organization and other departments to align project goals and deliverables.
• Identify and engage with relevant external stakeholders to understand their needs, expectations, and emerging trends, providing comprehensive reports through all required channels.
• Identify internal process and technical improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement tools, templates, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain and refine project management tools and methodologies, such as Jira and Confluence, to support project tracking and management.
• Show a keen interest in and motivation for bringing solutions for automation and digitization of current processes and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and digitize workflows to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Ensure forecasting processes are robust, consistent, and aligned with group standards within the Central Office of Engineering.
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for workflows and business processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and organize audits as part of the scheduled annual audit plan for the Central Office of Engineering.
• Address audit findings by updating the Product Compliance Management system where applicable.
• Utilize lean process and process improvement skills to drive continuous enhancement initiatives.
• Engage with IT departments and external vendors to implement and support process improvements.
