Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments utilizing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to provide targeted interventions that promote client well-being and resilience.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in alignment with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance within all client interactions.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance clinical skills and share insights, thereby elevating the quality of care provided.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them towards informed decision-making.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a part-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Point Psychotherapy Ltd., you will serve a diverse client base that includes individuals facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

• A Master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of individual clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish effective therapeutic relationships with clients and build rapport quickly.
