Job description

FLSA Classification:Full-Time, Exempt, Salary Range $39.26-$53.66.

Essential Functions
  • Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • Network Administration: Administer network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Security Measures: Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the organization's data and systems. This includes firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
  • Virtualization and Cloud Computing: Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to optimize resource utilization and scalability.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Establish and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • User Support and Training: Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly. Conduct training sessions to empower users with essential IT knowledge.
  • Active Directory and Identity Management: Administer user accounts, groups, and access control policies in Active Directory. Ensure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Implement automated monitoring systems to proactively identify and address potential issues. Respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies. Generate regular reports on system performance and security status.
