Job description

As a Restoration Technician, you will be on the front line responding to property damage emergencies and seeing jobs through from first call to final walkthrough. Day-to-day work includes:

• Respond to water, sewer, mold, fire, and biohazard loss calls across Connecticut

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping

• Set up containment, air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and air movers

• Complete mold remediation, sewage cleanup, and biohazard decontamination per industry standards

• Pack out, inventory, and protect customer contents

• Safely demo affected materials (drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinetry)

• Document jobs with photos, moisture readings, and daily logs

• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and adjusters

• Maintain trucks, equipment, and PPE in clean, ready-to-deploy condition

• Follow all OSHA, IICRC-aligned, and company safety SOPs
