Job Summary:
Plex Consulting is seeking a skilled and experienced Reporting Engineer Consultant specializing in Power BI to join their dynamic team. The role focuses on transforming complex data sets into strategic insights, enabling clients to make data-driven decisions through data analysis, visualization, and dashboard development using Power BI.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into models and dashboards using Power BI.
• Design, build, and implement interactive reports and visualizations to provide actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Develop and maintain complex Power BI data models, ensuring data accuracy, performance optimization, and scalability.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources into Power BI.
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients in leveraging Power BI tools to meet their business needs.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to empower teams with the knowledge to use Power BI effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously enhance reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience as a Reporting Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including the development of complex dashboards, data modeling, and DAX queries.
• Excellent understanding of data warehousing concepts and database management.
• Solid experience in ETL processes and integrating data from various systems and sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
• Experience in consulting or working with clients from various industries.
• Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies is a plus (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Azure).
• Relevant certifications in Power BI or related technologies.
