We are seeking a dedicated and eager Substitute Early Childhood Aid to join our team for 3-4 days a week/hours could vary depending on center needs during the School Year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to different classrooms and age groups, ranging from infancy to preschool, and school aged. As a Substitute Teacher, you will implement lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care. As a daily Aid you will cover in each classroom providing breaks for the full time staff and will have the potential to cover shifts in the event of a call out of scheduled vacation. During the School Year, you will be responsible for overseeing the Before Care School Age program, running breaks, and then responsible for the After Care School Age Program that runs from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Given the nature of on-call or substitute teaching positions, traditional benefits are not given.
