Work Environment

This position is located within our vibrant outpatient office in Tacoma, Washington. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art treatment modalities and rehabilitation tools, including specialized equipment for strength training, manual therapy, and functional movement assessments. You will work alongside fellow physical therapists, assistant staff, and administrative teams to provide coordinated care in a professional, engaging setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough musculoskeletal evaluations, assessing strength, flexibility, and range of motion to create individualized treatment plans.
• Design and implement tailored rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from surgeries or managing chronic pain, focusing on functional improvement and mobility restoration.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and myofascial release, to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Guide patients through educational sessions on postural alignment, ergonomic practices, and exercise techniques aimed at preventing future injuries.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine professionals, and pain management experts to ensure integrated care and seamless patient experiences.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records through our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, documenting treatment progress and adjustments as necessary.
• Participate in weekly clinical meetings to discuss patient status, assess treatment effectiveness, and collectively strategize on complex cases.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist License in Washington state is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation protocols.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients and effectively motivate them throughout their recovery journey.

Preferred Experience

• Experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders and post-surgical recovery.
• Familiarity with sports injuries and rehabilitation for athletes.

Compensation and Benefits

Pivot Point PT offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside performance-based bonuses. Our benefits package includes:
