Pinnacle Rehab Associates is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Kearny, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position will be conducted onsite at our comprehensive Rehabilitation Center, equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies to support effective patient treatment. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Pinnacle Rehab Associates, you will:

  • Direct and oversee individualized physical therapy plans to prevent disabilities and restore physical function, ensuring compliance with the prescribed treatment plan.
  • Evaluate patients using advanced diagnostic techniques to assess muscle strength, joint mobility, and overall functional ability.
  • Collaborate with physical therapy assistants in executing treatment protocols and ensure fidelity in care delivery.
  • Conduct home assessments for rehabilitation and make recommendations to enhance patient independence.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, both manual and non-manual, and guide patients in their rehabilitation journey.
  • Document patient progress meticulously, contributing to clinical records, care plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Engage actively in case conferences as part of the interdisciplinary team to tailor treatment goals collaboratively.
  • Educate patients and their families on the effective use and care of therapeutic devices as well as comprehensive physical therapy programs.
  • Perform ongoing patient evaluations and adjust treatment plans in response to patient progress.
  • Maintain timely submission of clinical orders and documentation in line with company policy and local regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients with varying rehabilitation needs. From post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management, you will support individuals of all ages seeking to improve their quality of life and regain functional ability. Your expertise will help guide patients through their recovery journeys in both clinical and home settings.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current physical therapy licensure in good standing for the state of New Jersey.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an acute care or home care setting, providing direct patient care.
  • Up-to-date CPR certification and a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance.
  • A passion for providing exceptional clinical care and improving patient outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a rehabilitation center or home health environment, as well as those who have successfully implemented innovative therapeutic techniques. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems will be beneficial for maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

Pinnacle Rehab Associates offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
