Pinnacle Port Community Association, INC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to help ensure the proper upkeep and functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a strong work ethic, a practical mindset, and a keen attention to detail. This role requires the ability to work independently while adhering to health and safety regulations.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including general repairs, landscaping, and preventative maintenance, to maintain the property in excellent condition.

Schedule:

• Full-time | 8-hour shifts
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
• Periodic on-call responsibilities required
• Overtime may be necessary.
• Periodic Weekend availability will be mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect buildings and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems (e.g., replacing light bulbs, outlets, and circuit breakers)
• Maintain plumbing and heating systems to ensure functionality
• Conduct general manual repairs (e.g., fix locks, replace windows, carpentry work, general plumbing)
• Perform upkeep of outdoor areas, including trash removal and painting as needed
• Collaborate with management to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks
• Follow established safety procedures and company policies at all times

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Familiarity with general maintenance processes, tools, and equipment
• Strong problem-solving abilities and manual dexterity
• Physically capable of lifting, standing, and performing hands-on work for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification or training in building maintenance, electrical, or Plumbing is a plus
• There will be some on the job training.

Pinnacle Port Community Association (PPCA) is a large condominium community located along the beautiful Gulf Coast in Panama City Beach, Florida. Our community consists of 408 individually owned condominium units across seven residential buildings, supported by a dedicated team of administrative, maintenance, grounds, and security professionals.
