Job Summary:

Our EDDAs ensure patients understand their treatment plan. Handle objections to proposed treatment. Present or co-present the treatment plan and consent. Educate patients, as necessary, regarding their dental needs. General duties are that which encompass any activity occurring at or related to the planning and administration of treatment for patients.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

• Dental Assisting Experience

• In-depth knowledge of dentistry and ability to describe and assist with procedures in simple language

• Superb communication skills

• Familiarity with computer systems

• Customer service skills

• Self-directed

• Organizational skills

• Familiarity with ADA codes

• Creative problem-solving skills

• Ability to function within a team environment as a supportive and positive contributor

• Ability to work independently

KEY GOALS/BENCHMARKS OF ROLE

• taking final impressions for permanent indirect restorations
• adjusting and cementing permanent indirect restorations
• applying sealants
• performing coronal polishing
• Designing and milling Nightguards and inhouse crowns, etc.

Scheduling:

The regular weekly schedule will be 4 days per week

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years' experience as a Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
• Excellent verbal communication skills
