Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Salary: $81,120 - $93,600 Full/Part Time

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

  • Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
  • Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
  • Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
  • May participate with home assessments, simulated or actual as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment along with PT/OT as needed.
  • Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
  • Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant issued by the state of California.
