Job description

Systomatic, Inc. is a precision machine shop in Union City serving aerospace, defense, semiconductor, medical, and advanced-technology customers. We are seeking an organized, dependable Manufacturing Administrative Assistant to support office and production operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Track employee attendance and time records
  • Create purchase orders for materials, tooling, outside processing, and supplies
  • Update job status, quantities, due dates, and production information
  • Prepare job travelers, work orders, and production paperwork
  • Enter customer orders and assist with acknowledgments
  • Follow up with vendors on pricing and delivery dates
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, packing slips, and certifications
  • Maintain electronic and paper records
  • Communicate job updates between management, office staff, and production
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide general office support

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative or production-support experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and data entry
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and follow up on open items
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable and able to work independently
  • Manufacturing or machine-shop experience preferred
  • ERP or JobBOSS experience preferred

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, in person
Pay: $22–$27 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Union City, CA
