Job description

Functional Owner - In Vehicle Functions / IOC
We are looking for a Functional Owner to lead the development and delivery of In-Vehicle Functions and IOC-related features. The candidate will serve as the technical owner, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring successful feature delivery from requirements through production.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end delivery of In-Vehicle Functions and IOC features.
  • Define and manage functional requirements, feature behavior, interfaces, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with systems, embedded software, infotainment, vehicle integration, and validation teams.
  • Drive feature planning, implementation, integration, testing, defect resolution, and release readiness.
  • Support integration between infotainment systems and other vehicle ECUs/functions.
  • Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, issues, and technical deliverables.
  • Lead technical discussions and drive teams toward issue resolution.
  • Communicate feature status, technical challenges, and delivery plans to stakeholders and management.
  • Improve development processes and tools to increase software quality and delivery efficiency.
Required Skills:
  • Strong experience in Automotive Infotainment, In-Vehicle Systems, Embedded Systems, or Consumer Electronics.
  • Experience with vehicle functions, ECU integration, embedded software, and system-level feature development.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, or SOME/IP is preferred.
  • Proven Functional Owner, Feature Owner, Technical Lead, or Technical Project Management experience.
  • Experience driving cross-functional software development and integration teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and reporting skills.
