Job description

The EMS Tutor provides personalized, one-to-one instruction in emergency medical services within a hybrid learning environment. This role focuses on delivering tailored educational support to students, assessing their progress, and ensuring they develop the necessary skills and knowledge for effective patient care in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized EMS instruction through hybrid learning platforms
  • Assess student performance and progress regularly
  • Provide academic and practical support to enhance student understanding

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in emergency medical services
  • Paramedic certification or higher preferred
  • EMT Instructor Certification
  • Knowledge of emergency medical techniques, first aid, and CPR
  • Familiarity with adult education methods
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Capability in patient care
