Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting individualized counseling sessions via secure video chat, guiding clients through their mental health journeys.
• Facilitating open discussions with clients to help them express and reflect on their emotions, thereby fostering greater self-awareness and insight.
• Acting as a client advocate, assisting them in defining personal goals and navigating their treatment paths.
• Performing thorough evaluations of clients’ mental conditions and collaborating to develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing solution-focused methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients are primarily stable adults with low acuity who have been pre-screened for suitability. We emphasize a proactive, compassionate approach; therefore, you will not encounter clients with severe mental health disorders. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid, unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

All applicants must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions or limitations on their licenses.
