Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Phoenix Rise Counseling, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ conditions through individual and couple's therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of families, focusing on issues such as grief, conflicts among family members, alcohol abuse, and adjustment to separation or divorce.
• Provide both teletherapy and in-person counseling (as appropriate), maximizing access to mental health services for diverse client populations.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to support clients in achieving their personal and relational goals.
• Document patient progress in our secure digital platform, maintaining compliance with all regulations and best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your practice, you will work with a diverse client base that includes adults, children, and adolescents. You will address a wide range of issues such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse
• Family system conflicts and communication breakdowns
• Adjustment difficulties following major life changes like divorce or job loss
• Grief and loss
• Therapeutic support for blended families

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of California.
• A strong commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care.

Preferred Experience
