Phoenix Industrial is currently looking for a Superintendent for upcoming projects in Alberta!

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in leading successful project teams with 5-10 years of previous experience in supervisory/management role in the industrial construction or the oil & gas    industry
  • Strategically oversee, monitor, and manage of a project
  • Combination of work experience in a similar role and industry related trade certification / education
  • Pivotal in planning, organizing, and controlling a project to meet and exceed expectations
  • Ensuring utilization and compliance of corporate policies and procedures
  • Prioritization of business needs, while keeping projects aligned with organizations strategy and portfolio direction
  • Provide guidance to project staff, responsible for the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations by influencing, developing, and implementing field project plans and schedule
  • Effectively communicate all issues, resolve conflicts and removing obstacles to progress
  • Able to liaise between Clients and Company Ownership
  • Invested in a safety-oriented work environment
  • Previous Experience: construction manager, construction, manager, construction supervisor, general manager, construction management, construction superintendent, superintendent, supervisor, construction site supervisor, Foreman, General Foreman, construction

Requirements:

  • Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Successful completion of background check and/or additional assessments
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Valid Drivers Abstract
  • Leadership for Safety Excellence Certificate
  • Standard First Aid
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • WHMIS 2015
  • H2S Alive Certification (Energy Safety Certification preferred)
