About Us:
Phoenix Behavioral Health provides high-quality behavioral health and substance use treatment services to our community. We are committed to client safety, comfort, and reliable access to care.

Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable, responsible, and compassionate Per Diem Drivers to join our team. This role ensures the safe and timely transportation of clients to and from our facilities, while maintaining compliance with all safety and agency standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport clients to and from program in a safe and professional manner
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety checks, and daily mileage/maintenance logs
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and Phoenix Behavioral Health transportation policies
  • Assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle as needed
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, and other staff regarding routes, schedules, and client needs
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues promptly

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Prior experience transporting clients, patients, or passengers preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain professional, patient, and calm under pressure
  • Must pass background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening

Schedule & Pay:

  • Per diem / on-call schedule (hours vary based on need)
  • Competitive hourly rate
