Phi Iota Alpha

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to apply as a Candidate for Phi Iota Alpha. During our 81 years of existence our brotherhood has become the most distinguished Latino organization in the country.
Phi Iota Alpha's membership is predominantly Latino/Hispanic American in composition. Membership is Phi Iota Alpha is open to all men regardless of race, creed, color, or national origin. Brothers come from the United States, the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. As Phi Iota Alpha expanded, the ranks of its membership grew to include a plethora of prominent and accomplished educators, politicians, businessmen, and four former Presidents of Latin American Countries.
Aside from taking care of business, there is also plenty of FamIliA time. We have events throughout the semester so that those interested in boming brothers of Phi Iota Alpha can observe the work, time, and dedication it takes to uphold the standards of excellence for the organization.
*No chapter, colony, student, alumnus, or employee of the Fraternity shall conduct hazing activities. Hazing activities are defined as: "Any action taken or situation created, intentionally, whether on or off Fraternity premises, to produce mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment, or ridicule."
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
-You must be currently enrolled as a student at Texas State University.
-You must have at least a 2.5 GPA to be considered a valid candidate.
-You must provide a list of 3 or 4 references (teachers, counselors, employers, etc.) for us to contact.
