This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and treatment needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique situation.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally responsive techniques that foster engagement and growth.
  • Monitor client progress by maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and adjusting therapy approaches as necessary.
  • Provide referrals and consultations to additional healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or specialized therapists, when complex cases arise.
  • Support clients in developing coping strategies and tools to manage issues related to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and more.
  • Engage in regular professional development activities and maintain licenses and certifications through ongoing education.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, treating individuals who present a variety of mental health challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction issues, and eating disorders. Your role will especially emphasize creating a safe, trusting environment where patients feel empowered to share their experiences and work towards recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license to practice as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of various mental health disorders and therapeutic interventions, coupled with cultural competence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, enabling the development of rapport with a wide-ranging patient demographic.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and an understanding of relevant telehealth technologies.
  • Strong capacity for crisis management and conflict resolution in high-stress situations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering therapy in a remote capacity, with an understanding of the unique challenges and advantages of telehealth.
  • Knowledge of community resources and the ability to connect clients with necessary supports.
  • Participation in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
