Work Environment

As a licensed Mental Health Therapist at Perpetual Help Behavioral Health Center, you'll operate primarily in a remote setting, utilizing advanced telehealth technology to connect with clients in an outpatient office framework. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health and emotional status of clients, using evidence-based methodologies to inform treatment strategies.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and objectives of each client, ensuring that sessions are tailored for maximum effectiveness.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, individual, family, and group therapy sessions, adhering to clinical best practices.
  • Regularly monitor and assess clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on the clients' evolving needs and therapeutic responses.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support as required, ensuring clients feel safe and supported during moments of distress.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records aligned with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to ensure holistic care for clients, integrating diverse insights into treatment approaches.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments, research, and trends in mental health, applying new findings to enhance practice and improve client care.
  • Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development opportunities, including workshops, training programs, and peer feedback to continuously refine clinical skills.
  • Uphold ethical guidelines and standards set forth by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations, fostering trust and reliability among clients and colleagues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist, qualified as either LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
  • Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic proficiencies with a solid understanding of therapeutic principles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport with clients and collaboration with team members.
  • An empathetic, compassionate approach to client care, combined with a strong dedication to client wellbeing and growth.
  • A proven ability to work independently while also thriving within a team-oriented framework.
  • Understanding and adherence to ethical guidelines and laws governing mental health practice.

Preferred Experience
  • At least three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or a similar therapeutic setting, demonstrating expertise in diverse therapeutic models.
  • Experience working in outpatient mental health services, with proficiency in telehealth practices beneficial for our remote work environment.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications, along with additional bonus opportunities based on performance.
