Job description

The short version: it's with a growing manufacturer creating Off-Hwy products, the engineer there is retiring so there's genuine room to move up, and the company has told me flat out they want to promote the right person .. PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotics integration - real technical work with a clear path forward.

Most controls roles end up being troubleshooting positions.

This one is different. The facility is expanding automation supporting off-highway vehicle systems used in agriculture and powersports equipment.

They want someone who can improve and build the automation systems, not just maintain them.

If you’re open to hearing about it, read on....

MORE DETAILS

I’m representing the Houston operation of a globally backed manufacturer serving Off-Highway agricultural, construction, and powersports markets. They’re financially strong, expanding product lines, and modernizing automation.

The current Controls Engineer is retiring after building the foundation. The next hire won’t just maintain systems. They’ll elevate them.

This is hands-on ownership of:

• PLC, HMI, and SCADA architecture
• Vision-guided robotics and motion control integration
• Production optimization tied to new product expansion
• Cross-functional engineering collaboration
• Proposal input, launch support, and long-term automation strategy

This role carries real internal visibility. Leadership sees this hire as someone who can grow quickly. Strong performance in year one is expected to lead to:

• Increased responsibility
• Elevated title
• Compensation growth

This is not a slow corporate ladder.
It’s a global company investing locally and expecting impact.

If you’re looking for stability without stagnation, and upward movement without waiting five years, let’s explore it.

Company Description

The Best career move you'll ever make.
