Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care and treatment to a variety of animals, including small animals and exotics
• Perform surgeries, including orthopedic and emergency procedures as your practice scope allows.  Services offered to our clients.
• Utilize digital radiography with AI assisted reading, and ultrasound for diagnostics
• Administer anesthesia (isoflorane) and cold laser therapy plus other healing/pain management equipment as needed.  
• Manage urgent care cases and critical care patients 

Required Skills:

• Experience in small animal care and preventive medicine. New Graduates welcome
• Strong client service skills and ability to communicate effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with exotics, internal medicine, and surgery
• Ability to perform X-rays and ultrasound.
• Comfort with anesthesia, laser therapy, and emergency medicine
• Fear Feee Certified or willingness to become fear free certified.

Salary and Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: $80,000.00
• Maximum Salary: $130,000.00

Perkins County Veterinary Hospital is a full-service animal hospital in Grant, Nebraska, providing veterinary care, surgery, and preventive services for pets.  Located a long distance from referal centers so there is a broad case load with learning experiences not available at many clinics.
