As Performance Physical Therapy continues to grow, we're looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant who believes in doing things the right waythoughtfully, compassionately, and with time to truly make connections.
About the Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists to deliver one-on-one, evidence-based care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. Youll play a key role in helping patients achieve meaningful outcomes through personalized treatment plans, exercise instruction, and education.
This is a collaborative clinical role where youll make a direct impact every dayworking with a diverse caseload that may include orthopedic, spine, sports, vestibular, and pre/post-operative patients. Youll treat approximately 1.3 patients per hour, with time to focus on quality care.
Responsibilities include:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Implement treatment programs that reflect the therapists plan of care and goals
Instruct patients in safe and effective exercise and functional activities
Educate patients and families to support adherence and independence
Document care accurately, completely, and on time in Clinicient EMR

Wed love to hear from you if you bring:
An active (or eligible) Delaware Physical Therapist Assistant license
An associates degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
Experience in an outpatient setting (preferred)
Interest in continued learning and clinical growth
A collaborative mindset and patient-first attitude
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Familiarity with Medicare and third-party payer requirements
