Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Clearly explain evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in setting therapy goals.
  • Demonstrate expert skill in implementing evidence-based treatment protocols that address individual patient needs and adapt to the dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members for comprehensive patient management, documenting any significant changes in a patient’s condition which may warrant adjustments to the treatment plan.
  • Complete discharge planning and offer appropriate follow-up care, ensuring all documentation and billing are accurate and timely, reflecting the complete course of care.
  • Effectively manage time and meet productivity expectations while maintaining an accurate schedule of patient appointments.
  • Contribute to departmental goals and actively participate in initiatives that enhance patient access to care.
  • Engage in continuing education opportunities to advance both personal competency and organizational goals, and participate as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy center caters to a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and older adults seeking mobility and strength improvements. Your role will directly impact their rehabilitation journeys, helping them regain independence and enhancing their overall quality of life through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • Hold a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
  • American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is mandatory.
  • A strong understanding of patient evaluation and treatment strategies is essential.
Preferred Experience
  • While 2 years of professional experience is preferred, we welcome new graduates who demonstrate a commitment to patient care and ongoing learning.
Compensation and Benefits
