Job Description

Working in the NASCAR vehicle dynamics group, the candidate will develop simulation software used by the race teams and the Engineering Department as well as work on vehicle performance.

Responsibilities

  • Simulation model development.
  • Model correlation with test data.
  • Identifying and exploiting areas of vehicle performance / development.
  • Assist the vehicle dynamics group with the development of an OEM DIL Simulator.
  • Track test support.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have at minimum a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering along with 6+ yearsโ€™ work experience in vehicle dynamics and simulation. Additional requirements include:

  • Experience with MSC ADAMS, VI-CRT, Modelica / Dymola, AVL-VSM, LMS Virtual.Lab, SIMPACK, or equivalent multi-body dynamics simulation.
  • Programming experience with C, C#, VB.Net, or equivalent.
  • Motorsports engineering experience.
