Schedule & Home Time

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Home daily
• Route dispatch times typically between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• Daily hours vary based on route and delivery appointment times
• Consistent weekday schedule with no regular weekend requirement

What You'll Do

As a Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will:

• Make multi-stop tire deliveries to retail customer locations
• Deliver tires safely and efficiently to receiving personnel
• Roll tires directly from the trailer to the designated receiving area
• Count and verify the exact number of tires delivered at each location
• Confirm order accuracy before completing deliveries
• Maintain accurate delivery information
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers
• Follow all DOT, safety, and company procedures
• Complete required vehicle inspections and maintain safe operating practices

Qualifications

To qualify for this Local CDL-A Truck Driver position, you must:

• Have a valid Class A CDL
• Be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in your state of residence
• Hold or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Have at least 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
• Have a 3-year DMV/MVR record with no more than two moving violations or accidents
• Follow all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and company requirements
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Be available to work the required Monday-Friday schedule
• Complete the Penske employment application
• Pass a background investigation, including employment, education, and criminal history checks
• Pass a required drug screening
• Meet federal English language proficiency requirements for commercial motor vehicle drivers
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely at all times
