Position Description:
CGI is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a strategic digital experience and adoption initiative. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong traditional Business Analyst skills with experience using digital adoption, product analytics, or user behavior platforms such as Pendo or similar technologies.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners to understand user needs, analyze how digital solutions are being used, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business objectives into actionable requirements and recommendations.
This is a highly collaborative role with visibility across business and technology teams and an opportunity to influence how digital experiences are measured, optimized, and adopted. Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, and other cross-functional partners to understand business objectives, user needs, and opportunities for improvement.
Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
Facilitate stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements discussions.
Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other appropriate BA documentation.
Support the use of digital adoption and product analytics platforms such as Pendo or similar tools to understand user behavior, application usage, adoption, and engagement.
Analyze user journeys, usage patterns, feedback, and other available data to identify friction points and opportunities to improve the digital experience.
Partner with product and technology teams to define meaningful measures of adoption and success.
Assist with the definition and implementation of in-application guidance, user feedback mechanisms, analytics, and other digital adoption capabilities.
Develop insights and recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative information and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
Support backlog refinement, prioritization, testing, implementation, and post-launch analysis.
Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and process improvement opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure requirements and expected outcomes are clearly understood.
Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis, product adoption, and measurement practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role supporting business and technology initiatives.
Strong experience with business analysis practices, including requirements elicitation, requirements documentation, stakeholder management, process analysis, and translating business needs into actionable requirements.
Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business requirements, and/or functional requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into business insights and recommendations.
Experience working with product owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders in a collaborative delivery environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions and communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work through ambiguity, and independently drive analysis activities.
Desired Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with Pendo or a comparable digital adoption, product analytics, user behavior, or digital experience platform.
Experience analyzing application usage, user journeys, feature adoption, engagement, and other digital product metrics.
Experience configuring or supporting in-application guides, surveys, feedback mechanisms, segmentation, dashboards, or analytics.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum or other iterative product delivery environments.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar requirements and collaboration tools.
Experience within financial services, wealth management, banking, insurance, or another highly regulated industry is a plus.
Familiarity with data visualization, reporting, or analytics tools is beneficial
