Overview
Pediatric Hospitalist - Indianapolis, IN
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to provide exceptional inpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents across Indiana, in the Indianapolis area.
Join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team where you'll manage a diverse range of cases-from acute medical conditions to surgical consults-ensuring every patient receives comprehensive, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct inpatient care, including daily rounds, admissions, and discharges
  • Interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and oversee individualized treatment plans
  • Perform essential pediatric procedures such as IV placement, lumbar punctures, and resuscitations
  • Collaborate closely with subspecialists, surgeons, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated, seamless care
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support resident education and mentorship
Practice Highlights:

Qualifications
  • MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
  • Active or eligible Indiana medical license.
