At Pearl Medical Supply are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our healthcare team as a Patient Service Coordinator. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for facilitating seamless communication and coordination between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Appointment Scheduling:

• Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients as well as follow up
• Manage appointment calendars to optimize scheduling efficiency.

Patient Registration/ Filing:

• Collect and enter accurate patient information into systems, including personal details, insurance information, and medical supply needs.

Communication:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients
• Effectively communicate important information, answer inquiries, and address patient concerns.

Insurance Verification:

• Verify patients' insurance coverage and ensure all necessary information is accurate for billing purposes.
• Collaborate with billing department to resolve any insurance-related issues.

Record Keeping:

• Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations.

Billing :

• Assist with billing processes including coding procedures by inputting claims.

Coordination of Care:

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Facilitate communication between different departments for optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

At least one year experience in healthcare field preferably in Home care

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Organized and detailed oriented

Must be able to show professional skills in a small office setting

Open to learning and adapting to office culture

Pay:

Starting at $17/hr
