As a fully remote position, you will have the freedom to manage your schedule while still enjoying the camaraderie and support of a close-knit team. Our collaborative atmosphere encourages teamwork and continuous professional development through training sessions, discussions, and shared insights. You will find that administrative tasks are streamlined, allowing you to focus more on client engagement and therapy practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct individual therapy sessions and group therapy to a varied patient demographic, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities to address unique challenges.
  • Accurately document therapy sessions and maintain timely, complete client records in accordance with agency guidelines and licensing requirements.
  • Participate in on-unit programming, contributing to training and development initiatives that enhance team capabilities.
  • Engage in regular communication with colleagues and attend all necessary meetings, ensuring interdisciplinary cooperation that enhances patient care and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to formulate and enhance patient treatment plans based on individual needs and progress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Peaceful Perspective Life Psychotherapy, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults dealing with various mental health challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. Our clinic embraces diversity, and you will be equipped to provide culturally sensitive and inclusive therapy, meeting clients where they are in their journey towards mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
  • Strong expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), especially for mood disorders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of psychopharmacology and effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful therapeutic outcomes tailored to a diverse clientele.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a community health setting or participating in outreach services.
  • Previous involvement in group therapy facilitation.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth modalities.
  • Prior success in engaging clients with complex needs and implementing personalized treatment plans.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range of $115,000 to $130,000, based on experience and qualifications, plus potential bonuses.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options to ensure your health and well-being are supported.
  • Life and disability insurance for added financial security and peace of mind.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage that safeguards you while providing care.
  • An employee assistance program that offers mental health support and resources for personal challenges.
  • Unlimited referrals to maintain a full caseload, allowing you to concentrate fully on client outcomes.
