Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Peaceful Paths Therapy, you will:

  • Conduct therapy sessions with couples, families, and individual clients, adapting your approach to meet diverse needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods to address a variety of issues, including relationship conflicts, grief and loss, blended family dynamics, and communication difficulties.
  • Document and maintain accurate clinical records using our state-of-the-art EHR system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients, empowering them to achieve their personal mental health goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and supervision to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices in the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families facing various challenges such as alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, job stress, and the complexities of separation and divorce. You will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes and build healthier relationships.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates for this position will possess:

  • A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in your state.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional care and support to patients with diverse backgrounds and circumstances.
Preferred Experience

While all applicants are encouraged to apply, candidates with the following attributes will be preferred:

  • Experience working within community health settings or clinics.
