About the Role:
This is a Inpatient Hospital Psych Coder position at Peacepoint Behavioral Health, a leading provider of behavioral health services. The Inpatient Hospital Psych Coder will be responsible for:

• Analyzing and coding patient medical records using ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
• Maintaining accurate and complete medical records, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and guidelines
• Participating in coding audits, quality improvement initiatives, and other projects as needed
• Collaborating with healthcare providers, clinicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely coding
• Staying up-to-date with changes in coding systems, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inpatient Hospital Psych Coder with:

• Medical Coder certification (e.g., CPC, CCS, or CIC) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
• 2 years of experience in medical coding or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulations and guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer:
PeacePoint Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000, as well as Health, Dental, Vision Insurance and Paid Time Off. Potential for remote work.
