Role Description The Financial Analyst role at Patterson Cellars is a full-time remote position focused on supporting informed financial decision-making across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing and reviewing financial reports, and monitoring key performance indicators related to sales, operations, and tasting room performance. The role involves assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes, evaluating financial statements to identify trends and opportunities, and supporting management with data-driven insights. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, ensure data accuracy, and help optimize profitability and resource allocation.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Finance, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
  • Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Financial Statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet tools and financial modeling (e.g., Excel) and experience with accounting or ERP systems are beneficial.
  • Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are important.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with non-financial stakeholders are valuable.
  • Experience in consumer goods, hospitality, or the wine industry is a plus.
