About the RoleAs an Infusion Nurse, you will deliver specialized infusion therapies, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and caregivers to ensure safe and effective care. Working under physician-directed plans of care, you'll collaborate closely with the broader clinical team to support optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.Core ResponsibilitiesInitiate and manage nursing care plans in alignment with physician ordersAdminister IV therapies, manage central lines, and perform related clinical proceduresConduct ongoing patient assessments and respond to clinical changesEducate patients and caregivers to promote independence with care and therapyDocument all services in real-time using mobile EMR toolsCommunicate with physicians, care teams, and caregivers to ensure care continuitySupport discharge planning and communicate care summariesAdhere to clinical protocols, HIPAA regulations, and Patra Care standardsParticipate in on-call rotation as neededQualificationsRequired:Active RN license in the state of MarylandCurrent CPR certification1–3 years of nursing experience (infusion preferred)Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insuranceBasic proficiency in mobile technology and EMR systemsPreferred:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)1+ year of home health or infusion experiencePhysical and Safety RequirementsLift up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 75 lbs)Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and maneuvering of medical equipmentUse of PPE in home settings with variable environmental conditionsPotential exposure to bodily fluids and household risksTravel100% local travel required within assigned regionWhy Join Us?Competitive compensationFlexible schedulingSupportive clinical leadershipOpportunity to deliver high-impact care in a home settingPatra Care is an equal opportunity employer.
