Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is an onsite position with the opportunity to work directly in patients' homes, allowing for personalized and tailored therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process.
• Demonstrate expertise in implementing tailored treatment protocols based on the evaluations and adapting them as per patient responses and evolving healthcare guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require adjustment of the treatment plan.
• Prepare for patient discharge by creating effective discharge plans and ensuring that all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and timely.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity goals while maintaining a meticulous schedule and staying punctual for all meetings and engagements.
• Engage in hospital and community outreach activities to boost awareness and accessibility of services.
• Contribute towards departmental goals, complying with regulatory standards and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Proactively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance your professional skills and knowledge base.
• Foster a positive customer experience by being adaptable and addressing the unique needs of each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on assisting a diverse patient population in their homes, including individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in enhancing patients' mobility, reducing pain, and restoring independence, all while ensuring they receive compassionate care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license, suitable for the state of Florida.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Experience in home care settings or outpatient rehabilitation will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
