Job description

Aerospace Installer / Mechanical Assembler
Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Installer / Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for the installation and assembly of aerospace hardware and structural components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with aircraft or aerospace assemblies and is proficient with precision fastening and installation techniques.
Essential Responsibilities
· Install and assemble aerospace components and hardware including:
o Rivets
o Nut plates
o Bushings
o Bearings
o Gang channels
o Structural and non-structural fasteners
· Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications
· Perform drilling, countersinking, reaming, fastening, and torque procedures to aerospace standards
· Use precision measuring tools and hand tools accurately and safely
· Verify part alignment, fit, and conformity to specifications
· Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards and safety procedures
· Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or nonconforming materials
· Work collaboratively with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to meet production schedules
· Maintain clean and organized work areas

Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly
· Experience installing aerospace hardware and fasteners required
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly documentation
· Familiarity with aerospace assembly tools, pneumatic tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications
· Aircraft structures or sheet metal experience
· Experience with FAA, AS9100, or aerospace manufacturing standards
· Ability to work with aluminum, titanium, and composite materials
· Prior experience in aerospace production or MRO environments
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Manual dexterity required for detailed assembly work
· Ability to work in manufacturing and production environments

· Aerospace manufacturing facility
· Fast-paced production environment with a strong focus on quality and precision
