Job description


Dietician - Parker at Somerset (Monroe and Middlesex County) Per Diem, $42.00 - $46.00 hourly rate depending on experience, (2) two shifts monthly as needed including some weekends and evenings - The Dietician will plan and provide for the nutrition management and education of Parker residents and clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Food and Nutrition.
  • Member of the American Dietetic Association with active registration.
  • Verbal and written ability required to comprehend and document dietetic practices, principles and theories, as well as to communicate effectively with Medical Personnel and inter-disciplinary team.
  • Numerical ability required to compute dietetic values of food.
  • Experience with geriatric population preferred.
  • Familiarity in basic computer skills.
  • Current New Jersey Driver's License in good standing required and willingness to travel to different Parker locations in Middlesex County and Monroe township.
  • Flu vaccination required during flu season.

Parker at Somerset post-acute rehabilitation and nursing care residence
Parker at Somerset is a 120-bed post-acute rehabilitation and nursing home, located on 10 beautifully wooded acres in Somerset, New Jersey. As an Eden Alternative® registered home , we are well-known for the compassionate, quality long-term nursing care provided to elders in a comfortable, home-like environment. We also offer comprehensive post-acute rehabilitation with round-the-clock skilled and sub-acute nursing services. Parker at Somerset was honored with a Five-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), in all categories, which places the community as one of the top-rated nursing homes in the state.
