Thurs - Fri: 11 - 7 PM
Sat - Sun: 5 AM - 1 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Cook to join our team at Park View, a leading provider of rehab and skilled nursing care in Chicago, Illinois. As a Cook at Park View, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our residents. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and want to make a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety standards
Restock food and supplies as needed
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service
Develop and implement new menu items and recipes
Ensure compliance with food allergies and dietary restrictions
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or related field preferred
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
High school diploma or equivalent required
Food handling certification Required
Food Manager certification preferred
(Please have proof of certification available for any scheduled interview)
