Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology (K-12)
Position: The Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology is responsible to the Superintendent for providing strategic leadership in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and technology, to align our educational practices with our mission of 'Every Owl Every Day.' The Park Ridge School District is committed to providing opportunities for all our students to find pathways to achievement and success. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, revision, and implementation of curricula, K-12, ensuring alignment with NJSLS and QSAC
Plan, design, and deliver relevant Professional Development, in collaboration with administration, K-12
Promote learning practices that are research-based and student-centered
Oversee observation and evaluation practices in the district
Support decision-making with data, and provide data analysis to support ongoing progress
Oversee our technology team as they maintain and support our technology framework
Oversee State-mandated data submissions and reporting
Oversee NJSLA assessment district-wide
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a New Jersey Principal Certificate (CE or Standard)
M.A./M.Ed. in Curriculum or Educational Leadership
Proven experience as an educational leader
Experience facilitating faculty meetings
Demonstrated understanding of the curriculum development process and instructional coaching
Strong understanding of NJSLS standards
Strong skills in assessment and data analysis
Strong skills in instructional technology
Must have excellent communication skills
Salary:
$125,815-$155,000, commensurate with experience
Health Benefits as per the existing collective bargaining agreement
