Work Environment

You will be working in a modern outpatient rehabilitation facility situated in the beautiful area of Naples, Florida. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life experience. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care based on unique goals, ensuring a focused approach to each therapy session.
• Manage a targeted patient caseload, allowing ample time for assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to design and implement therapeutic exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Apply a variety of cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at improving patients’ mobility and overall function.
• Educate patients on non-surgical alternatives and the benefits of minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop comprehensive and progressive treatment plans, integrating various therapeutic techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Encourage patient participation in their care by setting achievable goals and providing ongoing motivation throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Carefully record and monitor treatment effectiveness, continuously evaluating progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other therapists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our patients come from various walks of life, and it is essential to tailor your approach to meet their unique needs, preferences, and rehabilitation goals. Building rapport and fostering trust with patients will be crucial in motivating them throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong proficiency with various manual therapy techniques and an exceptional ability to develop successful exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly Web PT, for effective documentation.
• A solid understanding of current evidence-based physical therapy practices and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate patient education and interprofessional collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a physical therapist in an outpatient setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Mastery in diverse manual therapy modalities and orthopedic intervention strategies.
• Track record of working in a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
