Oasis Care Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team as a full-time therapist. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining a consistent Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health status.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, aspirations, and individual needs, promoting a sense of ownership in their recovery journey.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients' unique situation.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to empower them in managing their mental health.
  • Monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and aligning with evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses the holistic needs of clients, including medication management when applicable.
  • Stay current with ongoing research and advancements in the field of mood disorders, continuously improving treatment strategies and methodologies.
  • Maintain secure and professional documentation, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines to protect client confidentiality.
  • Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's collective knowledge.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs and work to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health challenges, ensuring that every client feels understood and supported.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Oasis Care Therapy Services, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. This role involves addressing the unique challenges that individuals and families face, supporting them in navigating their mental health journeys while working collaboratively to achieve sustainable recovery outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain a secure and trusting relationship with clients.
  • A compassionate, nonjudgmental attitude and the ability to empathize with client experiences and struggles are paramount for success in this position.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience

While the aforementioned qualifications are mandatory, we also appreciate any additional experience that you may have in providing therapy specifically for mood disorders or a related field. Candidates with experience in integrated care settings and familiarity with electronic health record systems will have a distinct advantage.
