Job Description:

ParaMed Plus is looking for a Mobile Drug and Alcohol Sample Collector to perform on-site services. ParaMed Plus has been providing Third Party Administration and mobile testing services for Transportation businesses throughout New England for over 30 years and we are looking to expand our network of mobile collectors. We are looking for someone that lives near I-91 between White river Jct VT and Springfield VT or near I-89 between Montpelier and Northfield. A strong candidate is an experienced driver in all conditions, has familiarity with DOT drug testing, is reliable, confident, comfortable with waking early in the morning, is available 40hr/wk and is open to be in a waiting to engage status on a rotating schedule with pay.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•          Receive collection information and client contact information via email

•          Review schedule for upcoming appointments

•          Drive to multiple client sites in a day using some form of GPS navigation

•          Arrive on time for scheduled appointments

•          Communicate delays >15min and an Estimated Time of Arrival to clients when necessary

•          Enter the client’s worksite and make contact with the Designated Employer Representative in a professional and discreet manner

•          Understand the confidentiality and sensitivity of Drug and Alcohol screening

•          Follow ParaMed Plus SOPs for DOT and non-DOT Drug and Alcohol sample collection

•          Ensure sample Control and Custody Forms are complete and all information is correct

•          Ship samples via FedEx dropbox or Express pickup

•          Record the number of tests, wait time, no shows and mileage for each stop

•          Foster professional and open communication between the client and ParaMed Plus

•          Complete and maintain required Compliance Training

•          Comply with all applicable safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

•          Order testing and shipping supplies online through the lab’s Fulfillment Center

•          Maintain an excellent working knowledge of ParaMed Plus testing services

A Successful Candidate Must Possess:

•          Drivers License

•          Cell Phone

•          GPS Navigation (cell phone or standalone device)

•          The ability to drive up to 250 miles in a day

•          Motivation to arrive at client locations as early or late as they need. Tests are primarily between 0700 – 1500 but testing does occur 24/7/365

•          DOT Drug and Alcohol Screening certification* training may occur after hire.

•          A can-do attitude and grit to work through unforeseen circumstances that arise

•          Ability to represent ParaMed Plus in a professional, positive manner

•          Ability to work in changing environments while maintaining the integrity of the testing process

•          Attention to detail to ensure forms are filled out properly and all information is legible

•          Strong Communication Skills to instruct donors/clients and answer questions

•          Excellent Time management Skills to arrive at multiple appointments in one day on time

•          Excellent Customer Service Skills to maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients/donors

•          Legible Handwriting

•          Basic Computer knowledge including, but not limited to:

o   Ability to send, add attachments to, receive, and monitor emails

o   Basic understanding of web site navigation including URL and how to enter website addresses

o   Ability to maintain and enter usernames/passwords and understand why credentials are important

o   Experience and understanding of Windows operating system

o   Ability to open, edit and save Word documents and Excel Spreadsheets

Compensation:

Mobile Drug and Alcohol Sample Collectors are paid either per sample collected and mile driven or by salary with a company vehicle. Pay is targeted at $25 - $35/hr. Vacation Time, Personal Time, bonuses and access to group healthcare.
