Responsibilities

• Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Install new auto glass with precision, ensuring proper fitment and secure adhesion.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify additional repairs needed, including auto body work or mechanical issues.
• Utilize automotive estimating software to assess repair costs and communicate effectively with customers about services needed.
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as window tinting, detailing, and minor repairs to enhance vehicle appearance and functionality.
• Assist with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration after windshield replacement to ensure vehicle safety features operate correctly.
• Handle heavy lifting safely when moving large glass panels or equipment, following proper ergonomic practices.

Requirements

• Prior dealership experience or hands-on auto glass installation background preferred.
• Knowledge of ADAS systems, auto body repair, and general automotive repair techniques.
• Familiarity with window tinting, glass installation, assembly, and detailing processes.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto estimating procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding environments.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
