Work Environment

As a full-time Acupuncturist working onsite in our outpatient office, you will thrive in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Our practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that prioritize the comfort of our clientele while enabling practitioners to deliver effective treatments. Operating on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, we value flexibility and adaptability to meet patient needs, allowing for optimal work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer acupuncture treatments with precision and care, ensuring the use of sterile needles and maintaining a safe, hygienic workspace.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, developing individualized treatment plans that cater to specific health needs and concerns.
• Utilize stress management techniques through specialized acupuncture modalities, providing relief to patients dealing with anxiety, chronic stress, and related issues.
• Implement trigger point therapy practices to address muscle tension and discomfort, enhancing patient mobility and overall life quality.
• Maintain proactive communication with patients, guiding them throughout their therapeutic journey to foster lasting relationships and ensure consistent care.
• Document treatment progress and patient feedback to refine and adapt treatment regimens continually to achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Acupuncturist, you will play a vital role in enhancing their well-being through evidence-based treatments that address both physical and emotional health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with a Master's Degree in Acupuncture preferred.
• A valid state license to practice acupuncture in Connecticut.
• A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a clinical setting as an Acupuncturist, demonstrating a strong foundation in acupuncture techniques and patient care.
• A solid understanding of human anatomy and the meridian system, ensuring accurate treatment delivery and patient assessment.

Preferred Experience

• Proven expertise in pain management techniques through acupuncture modalities with a focus on holistic healing.
• Familiarity with trigger point therapy and its application in clinical practices for muscle pain relief.
• Experience in pediatric acupuncture is highly desirable, although not mandatory.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to create targeted treatment plans based on individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 - $125,000, reflective of your experience and expertise. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
