We are currently immediately hiring for a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our Facilities and Maintenance team.

Position Title: Custodian
1st Shift: 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: Dependent upon experience
Fully Benefited opportunity
Location: Hagåtña, Guam

The Role: Custodian

As our Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout our facilities. You will play a vital role in ensuring our spaces from offices to public areas remain in excellent condition to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Sanitation: Perform routine cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting. Maintain restrooms and replenish essential supplies.
• Waste Management: Efficiently manage trash and recycling disposal to maintain a tidy facility.
• Surface & Floor Care: Clean windows, mirrors, and glass doors; buff and maintain floors using professional equipment.
• Basic Maintenance: Perform light repairs, such as changing light bulbs or fixing leaky faucets.
• Operations Support: Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture for events, meetings, and special projects.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all cleaning activities follow health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of chemicals.

Qualifications We Value:

• Experience: Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Ability to operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, buffers, etc.) and a basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Reliability: A strong work ethic with the ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to follow verbal instructions and read labels/signs.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Preference: Preference will be given to candidates with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (or as required by project objectives).
• Environment: Physical labor, including bending, standing, and moving objects in a professional facility setting.
