We are seeking an experienced CNC Turning/Milling Operator / Setup Technician to oversee daily milling operations, perform setups, and support the production team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of leading by example in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC Lathe/Mill machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and materials
• Adjust machine offsets and ensure proper tolerances are maintained
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks
• Make necessary program edits at the machine (if required)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety and company procedures

Qualifications:

• Minimum [3] years of CNC Turning and/or Milling setup experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Familiarity with tight tolerance work (aerospace experience is a plus)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
• Reliable and detail-oriented

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with [Fanuc / Okuma / etc.] controls
• Knowledge of tooling and cutting parameters
