Position:  Industrial Maintenance Technician 
ABOUT US
Packaging Services Industries, Inc., began production in 1976 and represents a family of privately owned businesses located in Maryland (MD) and Pennsylvania (PA). Since our inception, PSI has expanded to three plants, located in the Mid-Atlantic region and is staffed by over 350 employees. POSITION SUMMARY
The PSI Group, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our 2nd shift Maintenance teams at our Williamsport MD location. Our Industrial Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the various production machines and equipment in our manufacturing facility. Good attendance is a must!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Industrial Mechanical and Electrical experience or comparable education and/or certifications in related field
  • Safety First Mentality.
  • Solid knowledge and experience working with Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems in an industrial settings.
  • Working with voltages up to 480
  • Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work the following core schedules and overtime as necessary:
    • 2nd shift positions: Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 1:30am with periodic (required) overtime. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work successfully in a fast paced environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Experience preferred with welding and fabrication.

PSI offers an excellent benefits package to full time employees, including:

Starting pay range is $ 25.00/hr to $30.00/hr with an opportunity for overtime dependent upon business needs.


To be successful in this position, you must be willing to make a commitment of time and effort to become part of a team producing quality corrugated boxes in a safe, drug free environment. Experience in Industrial electrical/mechanics in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
