Entry-Level Automotive Technician

Four-Day Workweek | Three-Day Weekends

Schedule: Tuesday–Friday | 7:00 AM–6:00 PM

Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour

Interested in building a career in the automotive industry? PNW Automotive is looking for a dependable, motivated General Service Technician who is ready to learn, work hard, and develop their skills in a professional independent repair shop.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with basic mechanical knowledge—or simply a strong interest in automotive repair—who wants hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow into more advanced technician work.

You don't need to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone who shows up ready to work, follows instructions, pays attention to the details, and takes pride in doing the job right.

What You'll Do

As a General Service Technician, you'll help keep vehicles moving efficiently through the shop while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely driving and moving customer vehicles
• Properly positioning vehicles on lifts
• Performing thorough vehicle inspections
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and correcting fluid levels and tire pressures
• Taking clear inspection photos and documenting findings
• Assisting technicians with basic service and repair tasks
• Keeping service bays, tools, vehicles, and shared work areas clean and organized
• Helping the front office with vehicle flow, keys, parts, and customer shuttles as needed
• Following established safety procedures and shop processes

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, coachable, and interested in learning the automotive trade.

Qualified candidates should have:

• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Basic mechanical knowledge, and some light experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow safety protocols
• Ability to follow instructions and established processes
• Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
• A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

A Schedule That Gives You Your Weekends Back

Work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch.

That means you'll enjoy a consistent four-day workweek and three-day weekends.
