Purpose Of This Position:
At Perfect My Home (PMH), we are seeking a highly experienced, organized, and results-driven Director of Operations to join our team. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of the Project Management team while ensuring efficiency, accountability, and exceptional client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction operations management with a proven track record of driving project timelines, managing budgets, coordinating internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and improving operational processes.
This position will collaborate closely with Project Managers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and execution. In addition, this role will work directly with clients to address project-related issues, concerns, and challenges by providing timely communication, effective problem resolution, and a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and oversee the Project Management team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.
- Coordinate construction projects from start to finish, ensuring clear communication and seamless execution.
- Establish and maintain quality control standards through inspections, audits, and proactive issue resolution.
- Serve as the main point of contact for quality-related client concerns and ensure timely resolution and follow-up.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and improve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Partner with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to drive accountability and operational excellence.
- Track performance metrics, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Identify risks, resolve challenges proactively, and improve processes to support client success.
- Align and Demonstrate the PMHs Core Values: Be The Example, Communication and Team Work.
- Performs other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required, along with a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive, hands-on experience in the construction industry, with demonstrated leadership and operational expertise. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of current construction technologies, industry best practices, and the latest products and materials used in the field.
This position requires exceptional customer service, leadership, and communication skills, as the individual will serve as a key liaison between leadership, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ability to build strong relationships and maintain professionalism in all interactions is essential. Bilingual skills are a plus.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties, the Director of Operations is expected to meet the following requirements:
- Must be able to work independently and deliver quality work within deadlines while effectively communicating and coordinating with team members, service providers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required, including the ability to present information clearly, respond to questions, and build professional relationships with management, clients, and the public.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking, identifying potential issues, and providing timely resolutions.
- Must be able to interpret and apply written, verbal, mathematical, or diagram-based instructions, prepare reports and business correspondence, and maintain strict confidentiality while demonstrating honesty, dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and lead projects to successful completion on time, within budget, and in alignment with PMHs quality standards.
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to implement scalable processes, drive accountability, and support the continued growth and success of the organization.
Special requirements:
A valid Oklahoma Class "D" Operator's License is required, along with the ability to drive a company-provided vehicle and proof of auto insurance.
Safety:
The employee shall be very knowledgeable and experienced with the construction safety techniques and OSHA requirements. This role will be responsible for following and holding employees accountable to the PMHs safety policies and procedures. The Director of Operations should possess or be open to ongoing training in job and service shop site safety practices. Employees should immediately report (i.e., during current shift) any accidents, unusual occurrences, or any other safety-related issues to the immediate supervisor.
Work Environment:
This position primarily takes place in a construction environment, exposing the employee to varying temperatures, including heat and cold. The employee is expected to maintain regular attendance at work and is consistently on time. Normal office hours are 7:00am - 4:00pm. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required. This includes any approved adjustments to work hours arranged for necessary outreach events.

Employees are expected to use proper lifting techniques and seek assistance or equipment when necessary to perform tasks safely.
Benefits and Compensation:
PMH offers a competitive benefits and compensation package. This position is classified as an exempt, salaried position, and the compensation for this role starts at $75,000 annually. The final starting salary will be determined based on the candidates qualifications, industry experience, and relevant skills. In addition to a base salary, this role will be eligible for incentive compensation based on team performance results.
