Under general direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, the Human Resources Operations Manager is responsible ensuring that the Field Operations Team is supported, promoted, and development through the execution of human resources practices. This position will facilitate and manage the Employee Relations Programs which will include but not be limited to Employee Investigations, Workerโ€™s Compensation Program, and Member Incidents tracking.ย  They will additionally lead the field talent acquisition programs to ensure the organization is supported.ย  They will work collaboratively with members of the human resources department on review of legal considerations, performance management, leaves of absences, and ADA requests. The Human Resources Operations Manager is responsible for executing various projects and activities to ensure success as defined by scope, budget, and timeline. This position has comprehensive knowledge of employment law and can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization. The manager must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consults and collaborates with Region Vice Presidents and Executive Team on highly sensitive employee investigations including interviews, review of internal systems, composing investigation summaries, and proposing action based on findings.

  • Advises leaders on employee misconduct, performance issues, and policy violations.

  • Ensures timely, comprehensive and effective employee investigations.

  • Trains, develops and oversees the work of assigned HR team.

  • Effectively maintain current on HR regulations and employment-based laws, changes and prospective changes.

  • Oversee leave requests and accommodations requiring specialized attention in conjunction with the total rewards team, particularly those arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, and short-term or long-term disability plans. Effectively communicates and partners with managers regarding updates and or accommodations.

  • Partners with C-Suites, HR, and RVPโ€™s to resolve policy & practice inquiries, performance management, workplace accommodations, ER investigations, and other assigned cases.

  • Manages the talent acquisition process within an assigned region along with leading a team to ensure timely, accurate, and sustainable use of the HRIS and ATS Systems.

  • Act as point of contact for the Work Opportunity Tax Credits programs.

  • Oversee and manage member incidents and workerโ€™s compensation issues and programs.

  • Execution of the Exit Interview and off boarding programs.

  • Partners with the Director of HR on the creation and/or revision of programs, policies, and practices to sustain a positive work environment for Pinnacle Fit Clubs, LLC employees.

  • Effectively and accurately maintains confidential employee information.

  • Ensures professional service is always provided in accordance with the expectations and guidelines of the HR department.

  • Effectively translates broader principles or the spirit of the guidelines / practices to the current situation and provides recommendations.

  • Effectively anticipates the unintended consequences and broader impact of decisions.

  • Builds and fosters relationships with the business, manages expectations and delivers results.

Total Compensationย Packageย 

  • Salary: $95,000-$105,000ย 

  • Bonus: Up to 15% of Salary

  • Phone/Internet Allowance: $80.00 a month

  • Paid Time Off: 3 Weeks

  • Benefits Coverage by Employer at 65% to 80%ย depending on selectionsย 

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in human resources or related field required.

  • 10+ years human resources generalist experience.

  • 10+ years of employee relations experience.

  • 5+ years of leave, ADA, disability and accommodation management.

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.

  • Multi-state experience.

  • Demonstrated relationship management and team oriented.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Detail-oriented and high analytical thinking with proven ability to problem-solve.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Dropbox knowledge is preferred.

  • Experience with HRIS systems is required.

  • Satisfactory background check.
